THIS TIME AROUND, WE WANT TO DOUBLE DOWN.
‘Second Times a Charm’ is about making our final effort to pick-up the droves of trash that still lay near the Tuolumne river at Mancini Park. We would like every available pair of hands to come down and help volunteer for this event. We thank you in advance. This time GoFresh will be graciously sponsoring the event lunch for all who help volunteer. On top of that Enjoyables will have a booth with gear to give out! Roam Lost will supply the tools, gloves and trash bags for all volunteers!

Previously,
On May 22nd, of 2021 we teamed up with local superstar David Down to help support his initiative to clean up Mancini park in Modesto, CA. David runs an organization based out of Modesto called Roam Lost, which focuses its energy on cleaning up public spaces throughout California. We weren’t really sure how many people would show up but when the morning of the event arrived, there was a total of around 70 adult volunteer waivers signed. In addition to this we had around 20 ‘under 18’ volunteers show up to help out too! By the end of the day we had cleaned up what felt like an explosion of car parts, interior house renovation materials, a plethora of personal items and much more. With the youth of our community being frequent visitors to this park, we are much happier with the overall health and cleanliness. We then began eating our lunch sponsored by the cannabis company ROVE while we waited to hear the final count of lbs we picked up.
In total our event picked up over 8000 lbs of trash!!
